Orange Garlic Chicken

Prep. Time: 15 minutes Cooking Time: 2½–6 hours Ideal slow-cooker size: 4-qt.
Needed at Time of Preparation:
1½ tsp. dried thyme
6 cloves garlic, minced
6 skinless bone-in chicken breast halves
1 cup orange juice concentrate
2 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar
Preparation Instructions:

  1. Place all ingredients into a gallon-sized freezer bag.
  2. Remove as much air as possible and seal bag.
  3. Label the bag with the information below, then freeze.
    Information for Freezer Bag:
    ORANGE GARLIC CHICKEN
    Makes 6 servings
    Cooking Time: 2½–6 hours Ideal slow-cooker size: 4-qt.
    Instructions:
  4. Thaw bag completely for 24–48 hours or more.
  5. Empty contents of freezer bag into the crock.
  6. Cover and cook on Low 5–6 hours, or on High 2½–3 hours, or until chicken is tender but not dry.
