Simple Savory Chicken

Prep. Time: 5–8 minutes Cooking Time: 7–8 hours Ideal slow-cooker size: 3-qt.
Needed at Time of Preparation:
2 lbs. skinless chicken leg quarters
¼ cup chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp. basil
1 tsp. dill
½ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. black pepper
1 cup of water
2 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
Preparation Instructions:

  1. Place all ingredients in a gallon-sized freezer bag.
  2. Smoosh things around so everything is evenly coated in the bag.
  3. Remove as much air as possible and seal bag.
  4. Label the bag with the information below, then freeze.
    Information for Freezer Bag:

    Instructions:
  5. Thaw bag completely for 24–48 hours or more.
  6. Place all contents of the freezer bag into the crock.
  7. Cover and cook for at least 7–8 hours.
